Important Notice About Checking at Tri-Co

Dear Member:

Your Tri-Co checking account has a very convenient feature called Courtesy Pay.

Soon, we can no longer offer you this service unless you tell us if you want to keep it!

What does Courtesy Pay cover?

It covers you when you have insufficient funds in your checking account because it allows you to continue to use the ATM, your checking account, your Debit MasterCard and automatic bill payments.

Members tell us time and again how Courtesy Pay has saved them the embarrassment of having their Debit MasterCard rejected at a restaurant or while shopping. They also avoid the inconvenience of having an ATM reject their withdrawal. And it allows them to avoid overdraft charges when they pay a thrid party with a Tri-Co check or automatic bill pay. Because Tri-Co's Courtesy Pay has them covered - no inconvenience, no embarrassment!

By law you must tell us if you want to keep this Courtesy Pay protection on your checking account. If you don't and there isn't enough money in your account to cover a transaction, in the future your everyday debit card transactions (as well as checking, automatic deductions (ACH), ATM and Bill Pay) will be denied.

How much does it cost?

If you overdraw your account and don't make a deposit or transfer money that same business day, you will pay a $35.00 fee each time you use your debit card without sufficient funds. We may charge this fee every time you overdraw your account and we pay the overdraft.

No Fee to have Courtesy Pay on your account.

No Fee if you ever use it.

How do I get Courtesy Pay?

Members with accounts "in good standing" with Tri-Co qualify. The following are your overdraft limits and parameters:

The Courtesy Pay program with all of its "peace of mind" is free.

In August, Tri-Co Courtesy Pay protection can no longer be provided automatically like it is now. Keep yourself worry free from Debit MasterCard, Bill Pay, Bounced Check and ATM overdraft embarrassment. Please return the Opt In panel on the accompanying letter or stop in any branch by June 30th. Tell us you want Courtesy Pay today.
