Thank you for voting us #1 credit union in Morris County!
Now Tri-Co is giving back to the community in your name.
Every Tri-Co office has a bin for your non-perishable food items and cash donations. All collected food and cash will be donated to local food banks and Tri-Co will double your cash donations in the name of our members.
Let's all pitch in at this time of the year and address some of the need that exists in our communities.
News Release
Tri-Co launches dual-purpose effort to feed the hungry.
Randolph, NJ – Recognizing the tremendous need for food in area food
Pantries, Tri-Co Federal Credit Union has launched the “Tri-Co Members Feed the
Hungry Project.”
“We are doing this to help feed the hungry in the tri-county area,” said Tri-Co
President and CEO Michael R. Prettyman. “And we are doing this to honor our
faithful members who have supported and valued us throughout the years,”
Here is how the project works: Tri-Co members, or anyone interested in helping,
are asked to bring non-perishable foods or cash donations to the nearest Tri-Co
branch office. As the donation bins fill, Tri-Co staff will take the donations to
the nearest community food bank. At the same time, Tri-Co will add $100 to the
cash donations made at each branch and present the cash donations in the name of
all Tri-Co members. “This is our way of helping to keep the local food pantries
stocked at this time of the year, and to thank our loyal members at the same time,”
said Prettyman.
Recently, Tri-Co was name by its members as the Best Credit
Union in Morris County. The honor appeared in Gannett’s Morristown Daily
Record. “We have been looking for a unique way to thank our members for their
confidence and trust. With the food drive, we are also doing something worthwhile
in the communities that we serve.”
The Tri-Co Members Feed the Hungry Project will continue now through New
Year’s Eve. Food and cash donations may be brought to any one of Tri-Co’s five
offices which are located in Morris Plains, Randolph, Augusta (Sussex County),
Target Center in Hackettstown and Washington (Warren County). Tri-Co’s sixth
office is located in Branchville and is open only to Selective Insurance Company
employees. Directions can be found on our Branches& Hours page here.
Tri-Co, founded in 1936, is approximately $160 million in assets and serves
members in Morris, Sussex and Warren counties.
