Membership Eligibility
- If you live, work, or attend school in either Morris, Sussex or Warren counties, chances are that you are eligible to join Tri-Co Federal Credit Union. If you work for any of the groups which belong to Tri-Co, or are related to anyone employed by any of the following entities, you are eligible to join Tri-Co, even if your relative isn’t a member! There are other ways to join and we’ll list them here:
- Family means a legal dependent of or anyone related to a member by blood, marriage or adoption.
- Employees (teachers, educational support professionals, administrative personnel, support staff, school bus drivers, etc.) of Boards of Education in Morris, Sussex and Warren Counties to include State Board of Education employees in those counties may join.
- Members of PTO and PTA groups and their relatives may join Tri-Co as well as all members of their family may join. That means the school children grades K through 12 are eligible to join Tri-Co if one or both of their parents belong to their school’s parent teacher group.
- Related Alumni Associations of member schools may also join.
- Employees and elected and appointed officials of the Counties of Morris, Sussex and Warren and all of their family members may join.
- The spouses of persons who died while within the Field of Membership of Tri-Co.
- Employees of Tri-Co and their families.
- Persons retired as pensioners or annuitants from any group belonging to Tri-Co, members of their immediate families and organizations of such persons.
